This bar is really nice & fancy, the bartender had on a suite so you know we were in for some great service. I asked for Japanese whiskey and he kindly put all the bottles he had available in front of me. The city is home to corporate offices and residential buildings so you might not find tourists here at all. We chatted with a locals and the business men kept to themselves. Smoker friendly with great ventilation so even if someone was smoking around, you might not notice.

As an American on vacation here in Japan, I was looking for a quaint place to get a drink after all the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. I stumbled upon Abend by my hotel, it’s a little hidden and down some flight of stairs. I was welcomed by a warm lightly dimmed atmosphere with the owner of the bar behind the counter. I ordered a gin and tonic while my friend ordered old fashion. They were both prepared in such a delicate way it was like watching a master at work. Even at 12 in the morning and only us three in the bar it felt so cozy and such a welcoming environment. If I’m ever back in Minato again I’ll will definitely be coming back!

Our first stop after landing in Japan. We were met by the two bartenders who are welcoming and knowledgeable. I was unsure of what to order and after asking a few questions they made the perfect drink for me. They have a classic, old style atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

棚に様々なボトルが並んでおりバーそのものの雰囲気。
好みを聞かれお勧めのカクテルを出してもらい満足して飲む。良いです。
こちらの会話にも邪魔せず、お酒の事で分からない事があると、スッと会話に入ってきて解決してくれる。最高です。

ずっと気になってたBARでしたが、ついに地下に降りて扉を開けました?
あらぁ〜なんとも素敵な落ち着いた雰囲気のあるバーじゃないですか☺️
美味しいお酒が飲めるいいお店です。
フルーツのカクテルは、ホントおいしいですよぉ〜?
是非頼んでみてください。
久しぶりに美味しいお酒が飲めた気がします?
食事はないですが、ナッツやチョコはあります。
お値段もリーズナブルで、気軽に入れるお店でした。

As German tourists, we tried this small bar in the basement of a building. „Abend“ means „evening“ in German by the was.
Very classic atmosphere, elegant and experienced bartender and a big selection of drinks. You get some small snack as well.
