Great experience at Lake Forest Acute Care! Was there to be evaluated for flu and strep. Was put into a room immediately and someone came in to ask about my symptoms. Appreciated that I could complete paperwork in the room as opposed to sitting in the lobby. I was seen by Physician’s Assistant, Mara, who was very thorough and had a great bed side manner and truly cared about my well being. I won’t go anywhere else when urgent care needed in the future!

Carrie is awesome! She went above and beyond to get the clearance forms from my doctor. She stayed in touch with me, and followed up after my visit as well! Amazing! My vitals, EKG and blood draw went great! Dr. Negru took the time to explain everything to me and made sure all my questions were answered! Great staff and great experience!!

Been going here for years, both my wife and I as well as our kids. You can book an appointment same-day on their website, so we use them for sick visits when the pediatrician can't get us in. The office is very nice and clean, and all the staff from the front desk to the nurses and doctors are very friendly and great with kids. They do all the standard flu/covid testing and even have an X-ray on-site. Highly recommend!

I love this place. We usually go in for our daughter, but it was me today. As a parent, I'm thrilled to have LFAC nearby to treat my daughter with disabilities well. For me? I arrived and was immediately given a room. My hand was so swollen, my rings had to be cut off. Three women came in and worked on this for just under an hour. Everyone was pleasant and professional.

I have been to Lake Forest Acute Care many times, and have had only excellent experiences. I went to them when I had symptoms that needed my attention, but my PCP was unavailable. Dr. Don is the doctor I saw at LF. She and her staff were knowledgeable and caring. I would highly recommend Lake Forest Acute Care to any of my friends.

I was impressed with not only the Acute Care Center efficiacy, but it’s relaxed patient centric environment - both much needed in medicine. Dr. Ron was very personably engaged as she thoughtfully diagnosed. She wrapped up the appointment with a printout detailing everything about the diagnosis and a specialist referral if symptoms persisted. And I was able to get in quickly which is huge. All in all, I was really pleased. I think many would love the accessibility and ease of its patient care as well.

Treated a hurting knee bump!
Walking in at 4:30 pm, received “well” and analysis of knee issue ' completed with 15 minutes. X-rays taken, further analysis (with printout and recommendation within 40 minutes . Wow!
